Term 3 LP goal

My LP goal for this term is to take time to do my work well, and I will improve on my LP goal with writing, mathes and our inquiry. For example with this piece of writing I will take time to do the best I can and I choose this goal so I can take my time and not rush my work this term. I want to finish my goal. I would like to get better at taking time to do it well because then I will be able to read my work if I make it neater and take my time. I would like to learn about art and how to add lots of texture into pictures.

Hazards

In room 8 we have been learning about hazards and what to do to keep safe.
Room 7 and 8 are building a town called safety town we are building a odernery town but changing it so it is safe. we are making it so that the houses are as small as lego people well not as small as lego people but so the lego people can fit in the house. We are all in groups of 4 and each group got a square with the type of buildings that you have to make.
Some have shops, airaports, fire stashions, houses and hospital.
Hopefully we get it all done and I think it is going to look great.

skype party with Australia!

On wendsday the 8th of June the year 3, 4, 5, 6 children had a skype party with some australia kids and we made damper because damper is there cultures food that they like to eat. At the skype party we shared some NZ songs with them, the boys done the haka and the girls sang a song called mati mahi ka ora witch meant good luck. After we shared a bit of our culture they sang a song to us and shared some of there culture, After awhile of talking the skype went a bit funny and we had to keep hanning up then it got better and it was time to go, after the skype party all the class rooms lined up in there line for some damper the damper was so good it tased a little bit like scones. The skype party was so fun!!!!

what we are learning at school.

We are learning lots at school and the thing that I really injoy is epals. Epals are were you have to write on the computer and you write your post then you send it away then awhile after that you will get one back, the best part about epals is you get to learn lots of things about other people and were they live now I will be back to talk a bit more about epals and what were up to soon.

Why we have blogs?

Hello everybody your probably woundering why we have blogs, well my class has decided to you's blogs as another learning step.  We can share our work with lots of other people instead of just your mum and dad or your teacher or you can just walk around with your book showing people.  But we have found a easier way, just put it on your blog and the whole world would see your wonderful work.
